Farmhouse Spirdo in Apulia - Salento

SPIRDO is at 150 m above sea level, 15 minutes by car far from both the seas (Adriatic and Ionian) on a promontory with terracing, forest, woods where you may admire foxes, migratory birds and the Church of S. Maria della Serra (XVII cent.).
The estate covers 13 hectares with 540 centuries-old olive trees, grown according to ORGANIC METHODS. Our farm features air-conditioned ROOMS and APARTMENTS, free private parking, a seasonal outdoor pool and a barbecue.

OUR RESTAURANT offers traditional Salento food, with ingredients grown onsite, like our extra virgin organic oil, homemade bread with our barley and wheat, Negroamaro, Malvasia Nera and Primitivo wines made onsite with local grapes. Fresh fish only.

THE ORGANIC EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL SPIRDO is produced by BIOLOGICAL AGRICOLTURE, exclusively from the olives of our 540 centuries-old trees. The Ogliarola and Cellina di Nardò olives are cold pressed and manually beated using mechanical means at not fully ripe drupes.
These measures improve the characteristics of the cultivars and the organoleptic and nutritional properties to last longer.
